Well, it appears to be 2011 and I haven't updated since before Christmas. Shame on me! Here are a random assortment of pictures to catch up with. Maybe I can stay better on track from now on. =)
In January we had our annual "Peanut Party." Yes, to celebrate the dog's birthday. This was the first year we had games and guests. The kids and I had a fun time. Bill was there too, though I'm not so sure all the silliness was his thing.

The week after Peanut's birthday we celebrated Noah's 2nd birthday. Grandma and Grandpa flew in from Colorado to spend the weekend with us and we had a fun day at the zoo with them.
Such a happy little guy. He loves his chocolate!
And last but not least, is our new dog. Her name is Sunny and she was given to us at the end of January. She's a boxer pup, about 10 months old now. The kids love her, particularly Aslyn.
Here she is getting a checkup. She's got some weird cracked paw thing and the kids were concerned.
Thankfully she's VERY mellow.
She thinks she's a lap dog though and tries to behave like one. Peanut tolerates her but has let her know that she's still the top dog in this house. =)
Have you ever seen such a silly thing? Her paws have gotten bad enough that they swell up and hurt her. We're trying booties with cream at night now.

This last picture is a memorable one. A certain friend of ours had a ladybug themed party for her little girl in mid-February. Party favors consisted of a pretty little glass jar with live ladybugs in it. Hundreds of them. And yup, here's where ours ended up. Crash-all over the floor. Aren't you sad you can't see me running around trying to scoop them up before the fly all over, Peanut trying to eat them, convinced they were food and Noah trying to "help" by squishing them onto the bottom of his shoes. It was memorable all right. =)
