Here we are at the two month mark already. Well, okay, 9 weeks to be exact. We've had a pretty good couple of weeks. On Mother's Day we took Aslyn for her first ride in the jogger stroller. She did pretty well but we probably stayed out a while longer than we should have and by then end, she'd had enough and shared the following facial expression with us to communicate that!
We did have a good time though and we each took turns either pushing the stroller or trying to keep Peanut out of the wheels. She doesn't seem to understand that both she and the stroller can't occupy the same space at the same time!
We also found time to finally get a few bath photos. Aslyn seems to almost enjoy being in the water, provided we don't take too long so that she gets cold. We have an infant swimsuit for her and hopefully these small baths will be preparation for a bigger outside "tub" later this summer!
She continues to become more aware of her surroundings and is definitely smiling and letting us know whether she likes something or not.
She even gets this mischievous look every now and then... Could she be her daddy's daughter???
Finally, for all you numbers folks, we took her to her two month check up. She weighed in at 12lbs 3oz and 23" long. Interestingly enough, Rachel was 12lbs 4oz and 23.5" long at her two month check up. Check out that roll under the chin!
