A Colorado Thanksgiving...

This year we went to Colorado for Thanksgiving and spent about 10 days there with family and friends. There were many firsts for Aslyn while there including seeing a horse and several very large dogs, eating cool whip and pumpkin pie, opening an early Christmas present and getting more hugs and squeezes than she knew what to do with. Much of our extended family and both uncles had yet to meet her so she was quite the attraction. She travelled well, though we're all glad to be back home and sleeping in our own beds. Both sets of grandparents spoiled her by letting her sleep with them at night and we were afraid that she'd expect the same treatment once back at home, but she did well with the transition.

Who needs toys when you've got a sink and cup to play with?




Grandma Byers dug out some of Billy's old toys for Aslyn to play with while we were there. Oldies but goodies! And maybe they were made in America or have already had the lead chewed off them!!!



It wasn't super cold while we were there, but we did bundle up pretty good one day before a walk down to the duck pond.
