We recently had friends from college come for a visit with their new baby girl, Abi. It was interesting to see Aslyn interact with another baby and see how curious she was about who this other little person was. She wanted to touch her and be close and didn't seem at all threatened that she wasn't the only baby around anymore.
Aslyn is a true California girl in the sense that she hates to wear socks and whenever she gets the chance, pulls them right off. She seemed to think that her new friend needed to be sockless too because she rolled right over to Abi and proceeded to grab hold of her sock and pull it off as if to say, "Let me help you with those!"
Lori helped Aslyn and I try out a baby sling, the traditional way of carrying a baby around in Thailand.
I have decided that it was either made for stronger women or lighter babies!
