Monkey Pants

Aslyn, or Monkey Pants as we like to call her, has turned into quite a climber. She always wants to be on top of something. Right now she thinks that its more fun to jump on top of the sandbox lid than to actually play inside of it.

Seeing the danger of her falling off and hitting her head on the concrete, I swiftly moved the top to the middle of the grass before walking around the corner to throw a bag in the trash bin. By the time I'd returned Billy was out in the yard trying to figure out where she was hollering from. She'd somehow climbed under the shell and was attempting to manuever like a turtle but wasn't very happy with it! Later she decided that simply sitting out on the lid with baby was as much fun and much safer.

Aslyn is also really into hats right now. She's practically claimed Bill's floppy work hat as her own and has been wearing the ballcap she got from Grandpa Bill around. Last weekend she had it on backwards. =)
