Feeding oats to Dusty the horse. She had tons of encounters with animals. She fed ducks, held rabbits, petted goats, saw a teacup chihuaua, visited new lab puppies and kittens, and loved all the quality time she had with doggie Jake and Kiyah.

Aren't they cute? I'm sure if we'd have let her, she would have brought one home...or maybe all of them! Mommy wouldn't have been too sad but Peanut might have revolted!

Yes, that's her "petting" a fish. Poor fish. Bites a hook, gets drug through the water only to be suspended in air by a net for observation and finally petted until his scales started to come off and grandma takes pity on him and returns him to the stringer. And that's not all....she had quite a time with it between the water and the net too. =)
It would be an understatement to say that Aslyn enjoyed fishing. She had a ball and though we'll need to teach her a few things about fish etiquette, the pictures and video from her first real Colorado fishing experience are priceless. She's asked to go again multiple times and even interrupted prayer the other night to say, "and thank you for fishing." Sounds like she's "hooked" to me!
